Davenport Chassis

This chassis is the fastest and most heavy-duty.  Based on prototype measurements of a Davenport 35 ton, it measures 32" long, 15" wide.  The standard wheelbase is 12".  Two 350 watt motors provide ample power, top speed is just under 9mph.  I have used mine to pull seven cars up a 3% grade on a 35' radius curve.

I have extra rods available, and Larry used a set to build dummy cylinders.  This dockside is so neat I'm considering making a kit for it, let me know if you're interested.
